The Brasted Broken Upright (complete) contains 4 microphone perspectives with up to 11 velocity layers, release samples, true staccato, piano effects and performance sounds.
As with all imperfect samples, natural performance elements are included, such as the sounds of the fingers touching the keys. No robots or sampling machines were used here.
Provided at full 24-bit audio fidelity, this upright piano sample library totals 30GB of data (12GB download), and over 11,000 unique samples.
This is essentially four distinct upright pianos in one package.
Mic Perspective 1: Near the sound-board, for an organic warm sound
Mic Perspective 2: Directly inside the instrument, for a clean sound

Mic Perspective 4: Far away from the piano, in a hallway for an extremely wet "hall" sound

This piano library uses direct-from-disc technology, which means most instruments have a RAM footprint of around only 100MB.
